Hayakawa Named Among the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford–Elsevier

Prof. Masashi Hayakawa, Representative Director of QuakeInsight Tokyo and Professor Emeritus at the University of Electro-Communications, has been included in the World’s Top 2% Scientists list published by Stanford University and Elsevier for six consecutive years.

The ranking evaluates researchers worldwide using objective indicators such as citation counts and the h-index. Prof. Hayakawa was selected in the fields of Earth & Environmental Sciences and Meteorology & Atmospheric Sciences from 2020 to 2025.
